Bone Home is Expanding!
Here’s What That Means for You and Your Dog:
The property just south of Bone Home on Superior Avenue (formerly Jimmy’s Car Wash) became available… and we’re all over it.
We are currently in the process of securing our Conditional Use Permit and additional building permits to expand both our parking and our outdoor play areas. This expansion is a big step forward for Bone Home, and it opens the door for exciting new opportunities for both our dogs and our clients.
So what’s coming?
With the additional space, we’ll be able to introduce more enrichment-focused experiences into the Bone Home environment. One of the biggest additions will be the development of a Rowdy Dog Group, similar to the high-energy play areas at Bone Backyard. This space will give dogs who need that extra burst of energy a chance to run, chase balls, and fully get it out of their system before transitioning into the main yards.
We’re also expanding and enhancing our small dog area, creating more room and more opportunities for safe, engaging play. This means better group dynamics, more freedom to move, and an overall improved experience for our smaller pups, because our little ones matter just as much!
At the same time, it’s important to us that Bone Home stays true to what it has always been.
Bone Home will continue to be a space designed to include all types of pups, including older dogs, special needs dogs, and young puppies who benefit from a more structured, attentive environment. It will always maintain that “home-like” feel that sets it apart: calmer, more intentional, and tailored to dogs who thrive in that kind of setting.

This expansion isn’t about changing Bone Home. It’s about elevating it.
Why are we doing this?
At The Bone Adventure, we believe in constantly evolving and innovating to provide the best possible service to our clients. This growth allows us to offer more activities, more flexibility, and a more customized experience for every dog in our care.
But it’s not just about the dogs. It’s also about our people.
This expansion creates new opportunities and a clearer path for career development within our team. Being a dog handler, bather, groomer, supervisor, or manager here is a real skill, and one that deserves long-term growth and investment. By expanding, we’re able to support our team in building meaningful careers while continuing to raise the standard of care we provide.
Turnover is not our friend, and building a strong, experienced team ultimately benefits every dog and every client who walks through our doors.

This is just the beginning.
As we move through the permitting process and begin bringing this vision to life, we’ll be sharing updates along the way. There’s a lot to be excited about, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
